Virtual Multi Purpose Document (V-MPD) Manual

Introduction

The V-MPD is a Virtual representation of the Manual MPD and Automated MCO

(MD50 transaction) completed online (in BSPlink), allowing for a paperless

transaction.

The purpose of V-MPD is to allow the (nowadays there are no paper alternatives…)

pre-payment for such items as: PTAs, excess baggage, ground transportation etc. It

provides Agents with an automated method for the issuance of MPD transactions via

BSPlink, which are then included in the standard BSP billing process.
